Mr. Vijayakumar is a Award winning Cyber Security Leader with over 25 years of versatile experience in the Information Security realm and work experience spread across IT, Telecom, Consulting and Training. Currently he is a Global Head – Cyber Security Services in leading Telecom Organization, also played other roles including CISO – India Operations managing Infosec Organization, GSOCs in India & USA and Regualtory compliance. Prior to that he worked in various leading IT services & Consulting organizations in India and abroad where he was instrumental in setting up Infosec organization and established Governance, Risk and Compliance activities, consulting various customers on various Infosec standard & assurance initiatives.
He is an eminent speaker in various Cyber security forums in India and International locations including ISC2 Chapter – Chennai, DSCI (Data Security Council of India), CySI (Cyber Society of India), CISO Platform, ISACA – Chennai, FICCI, Team Cymru and also wrote several articles on Cyber Security topics.
Won Top 100 CISOs in India award from CISO platform and regular speaker in leading Satellite TV channels for panel discussions and cybercrime awareness related topics.
To bring awareness to the Information Technology users, Common People regarding Emerging Cyber threats, Vulnerabilities, cybercrime scenarios and its security guidelines / techniques which helps in building a peaceful and ethical online community.
To achieve this vision, I’ve been efficiently collaborating with leading security forums in India to share my expertise and views on Emerging Cyber threats, Vulnerabilities, cybercrime scenarios and its security guidelines / techniques. I’ve been successfully imparting cyber awareness using various channels including various security forums as Speaker, Panellist in India & abroad and also spoke in leading Regional Satellite TV channels, Newspaper, published articles in magazines for more than decade, which had an overwhelming response of participants from across the globe.
